HackRx is the flagship hackathon by Bajaj Finserv Health, curated exclusively for engineering students across India. It’s more than just a coding challenge—it’s a platform to ideate, co-create, and build impactful tech solutions while gaining mentorship from industry leaders.
This year, HackRx 6.0 invites students to deep-dive into the world of Generative AI, solving a cutting-edge problem statement involving Large Language Models (LLMs) and intelligent query systems
Problem Statement: Build an LLM-Powered Query–Retrieval System
Your mission?
Design a system that understands natural language queries and extracts relevant information from large, unstructured documents like policy PDFs, contracts, and emails — just like a human would.
Participants are expected to:
- Use LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Mistral, Claude, etc.)
- Integrate context-aware logic
- Focus on accuracy, scalability, and real-world usability

Is this competition open to students from all universities and courses?
Yes, the competition is open to all engineering students (B.E./B.Tech) in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year. Teams must have 2–5 members from the same institution and include at least one female participant.
Can I participate individually if I don’t have a team?
No, you need to have a team of 2-5 members in order to participate in the competition.
Can international students participate or is it limited to a specific region?
No, this competition is only open to students studying in Indian institutions.
Is there an age limit to participate in this competition?
No, there is no age limit to participate in this competition.
Can I change my team members after registering for this competition?
You can change team composition until the registrations are open. You will not be able to update it once the first round goes live or the registrations are closed.
Why is my college name not mentioned in the eligible institutes?
Only those colleges which are mentioned on the competition page are eligible to participate. The eligible colleges have been selected by the organization based on their hiring policies and other parameters and unfortunately we cannot add more colleges to the list.
How can I delete my registration from this opportunity?
