Role Overview
- We are looking for a Backend Developer (Python/Golang) who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and
- high-performance backend systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- while contributing to Unacademy’s learning ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python or Golang.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including frontend, product, and DevOps — to deliver new features.
- Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB) for efficient data management.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing backend performance.
- Ensure system security, scalability, and reliability across applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–1 year of experience in backend development (freshers can apply).
- Proficiency in Python or Golang.
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or containerized environments.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with asynchronous systems or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
