Key Responsibilities
- Build tools and systems that improve Amazon’s internal infrastructure.
- Develop backend systems and multi-tiered applications.
- Collaborate in an agile environment with senior engineers and managers.
- Solve technical challenges around scalability, reliability, and automation.
- Deliver clean, maintainable, and efficient code under mentorship.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, IT, or related field.
- Good understanding of at least one programming/scripting language: Java, C/C++, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of core CS concepts:
- Object-Oriented Design (OOP)
- Operating Systems
- Algorithms & Data Structures
- Complexity Analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems, relational databases, and algorithms.
- Knowledge in optimization techniques (like linear/nonlinear programming).
- Ability to handle ambiguous problems and think abstractly.
- Passionate about learning and adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment.

- This is a full-time internship — students must ensure no academic conflicts (like exams or other internships) during the 6 months.
- Selected students must submit an availability declaration signed by their university.
